Aubrey Plaza born June 26 1984 is an actor and comic known for her deadpan sense of humor. April Ludgate is her role on Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show she made her first web-series debut after doing sketches and improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Then she appeared as Juddah Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World after her professional career. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of the lawyer Bernadette Plaza and the finance Specialist David Plaza. Their father was Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza received a degree from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a Catholic, all-girls high school in 2006, after graduation in 2002. While she was an incoming senior at high school, Plaza was involved in Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student government. Plaza had stroke in her sophomore year in college. This left her with an expressive aphasia as well being paralyzed. She has now recovered. Since 2004, Plaza has been doing sketches and improv in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Also, she's performed stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza was on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show in the character that of Robin Gibney and was also in the role of Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions.
